The course is designed to target meteorologists, with an aim of enabling them to acquire

knowledge about: 1) KMA’s NWP system, 2) NWP Model output statistics, 3) WRF-Ocean Model

Coupling, and 4) how to use an alternative global model in driving WRF. It will also include

introduction to BMKG’s operational NWP system and post-processing & verification of NWP, and guidelines on the development of BMKG’s operational manual by the participants.
