The main objective of this short course is to provide participants with comprehensive knowledge and practical skills in utilising satellite ellite doto tor flood prediction, thereby supporting the development of an effective Flood Early Warning System (FEWS).

Upon completion of this short course, participants are expected to be able to:

• Understand the basic principles of satellite technology;
• Understand the application of satellite data for flood prediction by utilizing various rointoll-runoff models;
• Understand the implementation, challenges, and opportunities inherent in the use of satellite technology for flood monitoring
